Bachelor of Biomedical Science (Hons) in Molecular Biology at Griffith University

First year PhD Student in Nigel Morrison's Laboratory investigating the effects of cytokine combinations on cell differentiation in some human models. Particular interests include the role of inflammatory mediators in the activation and differentiation of haematopoietic osteoclast and macrophage precursors. She is also attempting to study some of the effects of cytokines present in the bone environment on cancers with a predisposition towards bone metastasis. The aim of this research is to unravel some of the more obscure connections between bone and inflammatory diseases as well as cancer.
